Graeme is a member of the Playwright's Guild of Canada. His work has been performed by Borelians Community Theatre, OnStage Uxbridge, Theatre on the Ridge, & Ajax Community Theatre, to name a few.
His first play, Renovations, was awarded the Best New Canadian Play at the ACT-Co (Association of Community Theatres Central Ontario) in 2014.
Since then he has written: a one-act play, All Together Now, that was performed six times over the course of two days at Durham Mini-Fest in 2016; Pine Grove Plots, a series of short plays staged in and around Port Perry that ran for several summers; and Palmer Park, a play that celebrates the town in which he was raised, Port Perry, Ontario.
His newest play, A Third of Richard, is currently being workshopped by Theatre on the Ridge.

He is also an actor and full member of ACTRA. You might recognize him from that Gravol commercial. You know the one.

Anne and Richard live a quiet, ordinary life in the fictitious town of Bosworth, Ontario. They help run the Bosworth Horticultural Fair, the town's annual flower show. But strange things are afoot. Especially when Canada's most famous gardener (and Anne's old flame) moves back to town. Why is Richard suddenly acting like one of Shakespeare's greatest villains? ‘RENOVATIONS’ is a comedy by Graeme Powell. It tells the hilarious and heartwarming story of Brent and Jenny, a young couple renovating an old Victorian house in a small, southern Ontario town. On the surface, all seems well: they are madly in love, Jenny’s dad is lending a much-needed hand, and the neighbours are eager to get to know them; but there are cracks in more than just the plaster. Soon, both the past and the future begin to exert more pressure. Is the foundation strong enough to withstand the weight?
